Bucks Fizz need no introduction to fans at the UK Eurovision Preview Party. The band went onto international superstardom after taking the Eurovision Song Contest crown in 1981 in Ireland. A string of hits and successful albums followed including three number ones. Mike Nolan, Cheryl Baker and Shelley Preston will open the UK Eurovision Preview Party with a live performance for the fans.
The band became one of the best selling bands of the 1980s after delivering the United Kingdom's fourth Eurovision Song Contest victory. They toured Europe as well as Japan and Australia and even released a Spanish language album. They were regulars on BBC's Top of the Pops and one of the most loved bands in the UK.
In 1984, Jay Aston left the band and was replaced by Shelley Preston, who has toured and performed with many international acts. She was instantly accepted by fans and instrumental to the Writing on the Wall album that brought the smash hit New Beginnings song.
Next Month, they will release Bucks Fizz - The Lost Masters 2 - a double album and containing over 30 tracks. It will include three new extended versions of the hits, Golden Days, Run For Your Life, and the smash hit number one song, Land Of Make Believe, as well as alternate mixes, demos, solo tracks, and a few surprises! The Album will be available to buy in stores and on itunes.
