Ruslan Alehno will sing Hasta La Vista in Belgrade as he represents Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest, looking to take the country to the final for the second successive year.
By the age of 16, Ruslan was writing his first musical compositions. At that time Ruslan couldn't even imagine that the real life story, which had evoked the content of his first composition, would appear again someday in his future hit Hasta la vista.
He is already a successful and popular singer, winning many festivals and competitions. In 2001 Ruslan was the winner of the Hit-Moment television show and in 2003 he was the winner in the Clear Voice category at the Crossroads of Europe.
In 2005 Ruslan released his first album Sooner or Later. After his success in Russia and back home, he entered the Belarusian Eurovision Song Contest national final, EuroFest, where he took first place and won the right to represent the country with his up-tempo pop song.
He becomes the second Belarus entrant to visit the United Kingdom, three years after Angelica Agurbash came to London and his up-tempo pop song is going to get Scala rocking at the UK Eurovision Preview Party
